Slate Critiques the Ethanol Subsidy

One source of value added agricultural economic development that gets discussed in Extension circles is ethanol (see also this wikipedia link). From Slate comes this critique of ethanol as way to save energy and lower US dependence on oil. See also the reader responses here.
